The League of Women Voters of Cache Valley will host Meet the Candidates Nights public forums on Thursday, September 10, and Friday, September 11, 2026 giving Cache Valley voters an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from candidates running for local, state and federal offices. Both forums will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Logan. Each night will be moderated by Tom Williams of Utah Public Radio and will be livestreamed and archived at UPR.org. 

Thursday, September 10 will feature candidates for: 

• Cache County Council: Districts 2, 3, 5 and 7 • Utah State Legislature: Districts 2, 3 and 5 • U.S. Congress: Congressional District 2 

Friday, September 11 will feature candidates for: • Local school boards: CCSD 2, 4, 7, LCSD 5 • Utah State Board of Education: Seat 1 • Water Board: Two seats 

The League of Women Voters of Cache Valley is organizing Meet the Candidates Nights to help voters become more informed about the candidates and the issues facing their communities. The forums will provide candidates with an opportunity to introduce themselves, discuss their priorities and respond to questions from voters.
